Eighteen finalists will be presented to the 48-member Professional Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee at its annual meeting on “Selection Saturday” the day before Super Bowl LV. The finalists will consist of 15 modern-day finalists and the recently appointed senior finalist, Drew Pearson; finalist contributor Bill Nunn; and finalist trainer, Tom Flores.

Although there is no fixed number for any category of embedded members, the by-laws for the selection process provide that between four and eight new members will be selected. The 2021 Class will be revealed during NFL Honors on Saturday February 6.

The 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame promotion will be dedicated Sunday August 8, 2021 in Canton, Ohio. Other events during the week of festivities will include the rescheduled Hall of Fame game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys on August 5, the Gold Jacket Dinner on August 6 and the Centennial Class of 2020 Enshrinement August 7.
