Oscar winner Michael Giacchino marks the theme of the Star Trek: Prodigy series opening title sequence on Paramount +.

Star Trek: ProdigyThe show’s opening was revealed by executive producers Kevin and Dan Hageman during the Television Critics Association (TCA) virtual presentation of the show. The score for the one minute and 33 second opener comes from Oscar winner Michael Giacchino. Music for Prodigy is by Nami Melumad (An American pickle, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, Absence).
“I am delighted to have had the opportunity to write the main theme for Kevin and Dan’s latest project, and as always, I am delighted to be a part of Star Trek family, “said Michael Giacchino.” I am especially looking forward to everyone hearing the incredible work of composer Nami Melumad, who will take the reins of composing the episodes.
