Turner 'Tfue' Tenney, one of the world's largest streamers and sports industry professionals, has filed a lawsuit against Faze Clan's esports agency for an "extremely oppressive, onerous and one-sided" deal , according to THR.
The complaint alleges that Faze Clan's player contract awards Faze Clan up to 80% of the streamer's revenues from branded content (sponsored videos) and that this contract prevents Tfue from pursuing and making money through sponsorship contracts that he did not approve.
Tfue's lawyer, Bryan Freedman of Freedman + Taitelman, brought the complaint before the California Labor Commissioner to problems that far exceed financial contracts. Freedman wrote that Faze Clan is taking advantage of young artists and is endangering their health and safety, reporting an incident where Tfue was pressured into skateboarding and injured his arm. Freedman also wrote that the Faze clan had been pressuring Tfue that he was living in one of his homes where he had received alcohol before the age of 21 and encouraged to play illegally.

In one case, Tenney suffered an injury (deep wound that probably required stitches) that resulted in permanent disfigurement. Faze Clan also encourages miners to drink and play at Clout House and FaZe House, where the Faze Clan's talents live and often party. It is also widely reported that Faze Clan has attempted to exploit at least one minor artist.

The banks also reiterated the Faze Clan's official statement, claiming that the company had absorbed 20% of Tfue's revenue in brand dealings, for a total of $ 60,000.
The Tfue complaint however appears to contradict the contents of the agreement, not necessarily its execution, and the general legality of this type of gambling agreements in the landscape of esports. In addition, the complaint alleges that Tfue lost a potential profit because of its agreement with Faze Clan and their own conflicts of interest with various brands interested in sponsorship.
