The professional wrestler Ric Flair was hospitalized, according to several reports.

But there were conflicting reports about the reason for staying at Flair's hospital.

According to TMZ, the legend of professional wrestling would have been transported to the Atlanta area hospital as a result of a "medical emergency".

But according to Conrad Thompson, a popular wrestling podcaster, the TMZ report is misleading. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Thompson stated that Flair's hospitalization was linked to a "planned procedure". And Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that the visit to the hospital "had not been planned in advance".

Flair, 70, is the last to have fought a serious health crisis in 2017 when his bowel broke. He spent 11 days in medically induced coma.
