Project Lincoln co-founder calls Republicans who doubt election results a ‘shame’

Schmidt, a longtime GOP political strategist, reacted to the Fox News cutoff of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany who denounced unsubstantiated allegations of “illegal voting” at a press conference Monday. Appearing on an MSNBC panel after McEnany’s “non-credibility” allegation of rampant electoral fraud, Schmidt said the Trump administration was carrying out its “latest outrage.” The conservative Lincoln Project co-founder has said that “it is all coming to an end” for Trump, with his team finding no legitimate examples of widespread electoral fraud in any state.

“The American people have delivered their verdict and they have thrown Donald Trump on the ass,” Schmidt said. “We should stop saying that ‘if there is proof’ there is no proof [of voter fraud]! It’s a fantasy. We watch a conspiracy theory unfold in real time. “
