Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott on Zoey Deschanel aged 41

They paid each other sweet respects ringing the New Year.

And Sunday, Jonathan Scott was back on Instagram with another gushing tribute to his sweetheart Zooey Deschanel when she was 41.

“Today is my favorite person’s birthday,” the Property Brothers reality TV star explained, sharing a photo montage.

Scott, 42, spoke directly to Deschanel, saying: ‘You are caring, talented, hilarious, sweet and just as beautiful inside and out. ”

He then added: “ I know we can’t celebrate like we did last year, but I have a few surprises up my sleeve.

He concluded with: ‘#HappyBirthday, @ZooeyDeschanel. You fill my life with so much joy.

Deschanel responded by commenting: ‘Aw !!!! You are the nicest and I am the luckiest!

The couple met in August 2019 while filming a Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden.

Shortly after, the actress announced that she had separated from her husband of four, Jacob Pechenik, with whom she shared two young children.

She and Scott confirmed their relationship in September 2019, and Deschanel’s divorce was finalized last June.

In early January, Deschanel called Scott a “ MVP 2020 ” as she celebrated the start of a new year.

She said in an Instagram post that the Canadian TV personality ‘always made me happy despite a strange and uncertain year.

For his part, Scott celebrated the start of 2021 by posting, “ I dedicate this year to love, happiness and the pursuit of helping others. I feel like I have a good start when it comes to love.
