Conor McGregor joined the short list of the worst ceremonial first throws in history on Tuesday night.
The former two-division UFC champion took the mound of historic Chicago Wrigley Field ahead of the Cubs’ 9-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins. “The Notorious”, dressed on all fours, relaxed a bit before lifting his pitch on the third base, almost piercing a fan sitting in the front row.
Whenever fighters have the opportunity to shoot the biggest star in mixed martial arts history, they do. This was no exception as some of McGregor’s colleagues, rivals and former opponents took their punches.

I can’t help but laugh at this. All the MMA fighters who portrayed us doing this look terrible, but it takes the cake. https://t.co/n6Ck9AQ7wG

If you thought Conor McGregor was bad at throwing the first pitch at Wrigley earlier, here’s his take on Take Me Out To The Ballgame and it’s slightly better. pic.twitter.com/WDKWlMJMO3
