Supporters of a grassroots movement committed to the Jewish liberation plan to stage a protest outside NBC studios on Saturday in response to a recent “anti-Semitic” joke made by “Saturday Night Live” star Michael Che, Fox News has learned .
The event is co-sponsored by End Jew Hatred, former Brooklyn Coven Dov Hikind, Liberate Art and Yad Yamin New York.
Individuals planning to demonstrate in New York studios criticized Che’s joke during last Saturday’s “SNL” episode in which the comedian said, “Israel reports having vaccinated half of its population. I will guess it’s half Jewish. “

The statement gained attention on social media, causing an uproar from viewers and sparked a petition from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) asking NBC to “withdraw its outrageous statement and immediately apologize.”

NBC continues to be criticized for a series of incidents that have been labeled “anti-Semitic”.

The organization called the joke “categorically false” and “a dangerous, modern twist on a classic anti-Semitic trope that has inspired the mass murder of countless Jews over the centuries.”
The petition continued: “Words have consequences, and Jews are in danger when a major American television company joins with those who claim that Israel favors only a portion of its citizens in its admirable efforts, lauded by Dr Anthony Fauci and others, to vaccinate all of its residents. “

NBC told Fox News it had “no comment.” Che’s representatives did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment on Saturday.
