Protesters undress and paint at Times Square

Several dozen people undressed and found their bodies in Times Square, New York, as part of what was described as a demonstration against "division".

The Saturday event was organized by Body Artist Andy Golub. He has staged nude events similar to Times Square in recent years.

Golub said that the world we live in "is very controversial". He said that people have "a lot more in common" than they are different.

Samantha Walsh came from Toronto to participate. Walsh, who uses a wheelchair, said body paint was upsetting the way people think "whose bodies are valuable".
