PS4 PlayStation 4 Trophies

Sony gets organized with all of its system software, doesn’t it? For PlayStation 5, the company currently has a huge beta update that will bring a lot of changes and improvements. However, the PS4 is no slouch – firmware version 9.00 is now in public beta for participants, and has one or two interesting additions.

In an email to beta testers, Sony confirmed some of the main features of the PS4 9.00 system software. The main point this time concerns the Trophies. Currently, you cannot view trophies that you have won in PS5 games while logged in on PS4. With this update, you can visualize your PS5 trinkets on PS4, which makes things a little more consistent across all consoles. Cared for!

In addition, firmware 9.00 will introduce a few other noteworthy features. If you have a group of messages, you will be able to delete it (for yourself and for all members of the group). When you block someone, you can also choose to automatically leave the message group that contains only you and the person you want to block. Finally, if a child account wants permission to play a certain game, the parent account will be notified on the PS4 and through the PlayStation app.

All of these things seem like significant improvements to us. It’s unclear when firmware 9.00 will be released for all PS4 users, but of course we’ll let you know as soon as that happens. Are you happy that you will be able to see the PS5 Trophies on PS4 soon? Admire your Trophy cabinet in the comments section below.
