PS4 games shock while Sony holds its first PlayStation Direct – Could we have a revelation PS5? | Game | Entertainment

Sony has launched a weekend bomb announcing its intention to hold a PS4-style Nintendo Direct direct.

The conference on Sony's game state, to be held on Monday, March 25, will explore the upcoming PS4 games and PSVR software.

If Sony really wants to throw things with a bang, then it is possible that we even get a shock on PS5. Strange things have happened.

British fans can tune in live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook at 21:00 GMT. It is 22:00 CET if you reside in Europe and 14:00 ET or 17:00 ET if you reside in the United States.

I'm happy to finally be able to talk about this! ", Reads in an article in the Sony blog." Today we are presenting a new video program called State of Play, and the first episode begins Monday, March 25 at 9:00 pm (Paris time).

"State of Play will provide you with updates and announcements from the PlayStation world.

"Our first episode will feature future PS4 and PS VR software, including new trailers, new game ads, and new gameplay."

Clearly in line with Nintendo, Sony has announced plans to hold more State of Play conferences throughout the year.

You can almost certainly expect to see one at this year's E3 games show.

Although the PS5 revelation is a long shot in the first episode, it is likely that we will see more of The Last of Us 2, Ghosts of Tsushima and Dreams.

Maybe Sony will even reveal this mystery, a new exclusivity supposedly in development.

This was reported by industry insider Colin Moriarty (via Gamingbolt), who said that "substantial exclusivity for the PS4" had not yet been announced by Sony.

"They did such a good job cultivating second party relationships (there 's an important enough exclusive for the PS4 that has not yet been announced by a second party) that it' s not good enough. It's unclear if they think they need it, "Moriarty told a Twitter follower.

"All we know is that expansion has not been part of their strategy – it may change."

The identity of the game remains unknown, although the fact that the mystery game is developing in a second studio certainly shrinks things.

The most obvious candidate would be Supermassive Games, responsible for titles like The Inpatient and Until Dawn.

With the original Until Dawn that had a surprising popularity on PS4, a suite would make sense.
