The PlayStation 5 is predominantly white, with two curved panels sandwiching the main black box. It’s visually quite striking and a huge change from the brand’s previous models. As you might expect, not everyone is a fan of the white outer shell, and they take matters into their own hands.
The white panels are easy to remove, mainly so that you can upgrade the SSD storage in the future. However, some give their PS5s colorful makeovers by removing the sides and painting them however they want. Others also customize their DualSense controllers. Some of the results are stunning, and we’ve included a few here to give you an idea:
There are many more examples if you want to look for them. Of course, many of them just turn the panels into black.
