Apple and Sony have teamed up to give PS5 owners a great promotion on the Apple TV Plus streaming service. New and existing subscribers can get six months of service for free by simply opening the Apple TV Plus app on PS5 (and signing in with your Apple ID, if you’re not a current user). After six months, you will be charged the normal rate of $ 4.99 per month to continue using the service.
The timing of this promotion is no accident. Ted lasso, the hit Apple TV Plus show starring Jason Sudeikis, begins its second season on Friday, July 23. There are other things to look forward to with this membership, like catching up on two fantastic seasons of Mythic Quest and prepare for a promising adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s film Foundation. the Problem with Jon Stewart is launched in September.
If you have a PS5, that’s a no-brainer. Go to the “Media” section of the main PS5 home screen and download Apple TV Plus from there. The offer starts today and lasts for up to one year, giving you until July 22, 2022 to activate your six-month trial.
