The restocking of the PS5 is back at Sony. You can access the Sony Virtual Queue by clicking on this Sony Direct link. By clicking on the link, you will be taken directly to the online queue.
Once in the virtual queue, you will have to wait to reach the start of the queue. Wait times will vary, but if it says you have “over an hour” to wait, don’t despair. The status can change quickly and you may have a shorter wait time than you expect. (For example, after waiting 20 minutes during a previous PS5 replenishment event, our time dropped from “over an hour” to just 15 minutes).

You will need a PSN account to complete your purchase. If you don’t already have one, you can create an account here. We also suggest that you enter your address and payment information to speed up your purchase in the event that you manage to hook up a console.
It’s worth noting that just because you’ve secured yourself a place in the queue doesn’t mean you’ll have the chance to buy the PS5. Sony clearly states that “PS5 consoles are limited and are not guaranteed even if you are in the queue.” Additionally, you may need to resolve a captcha. (A simple challenge / question to make sure you are not a robot). As a result, you’ll want to make sure that your browser tab remains clearly visible, because if it doesn’t, you might miss your captcha challenge and lose your place online.
Once you get to the first row of the queue, you’ll hear a chime (make sure you have your sound turned on) and you’ll be taken to PlayStation Store. You will then have 10 minutes to complete your purchase. You can buy the PS5 for $ 499 or the PS5 Digital for $ 399.
What if you miss today’s PS5 restocking
If Sony Direct sells its consoles, be aware that other retailers could get inventory in the coming days, especially as Sony tries to ramp up production.
