It is confirmed that Best Buy will put the PS5 on sale in stores. Yes, we are actually seeing an offline replenishment after months. Here are all the details you need to know.
The official Best Buy website now has an in-store video game event page. On the page, Best Buy writes –
On Thursday, September 23, select Best Buy stores will have limited quantities of the following next-gen consoles:
- Xbox Series
- Playstation 5
- Digital playstation 5
For PS5 drops and replenishments, follow us on Twitter @spieltimes where we instantly tweet when there is a PS5 drop or replenishment.
At 7:30 a.m. local time, Best Buy employees will hand out tickets. Since many people know this by now, it’s best to reach your nearest store with stock (how will you know? Check the last paragraph) at least 2-3 hours in advance. They will ask you which console you want to buy and, based on that, give you a ticket. They ensure that everyone with a ticket “will be guaranteed the opportunity to buy the console.” Now that’s really awesome!
