Sony Direct PS5 restockings are only active for a short time, but there’s good news: they often seem to open up shopping queues during the week, so check back regularly to see if they’re any. new in stock.
That said, other retailers restocked the PS5 much more frequently in January, so we advise potential buyers to check the links below for Amazon, GameStop, Target, and Walmart – they’re more reliable.

How to prepare for a Sony Direct PS5 stock drop
If at a later date you find yourself in the queue, be sure to keep your browser’s audio on to hear the chime if you get to the top of the queue – it looks like the places are randomly assigned and sadly, there’s no way of knowing if you’re going to be able to grab the stock – as Sony says, just standing in line isn’t a guarantee of a console hooking up.
