PSA: Don’t delete your Halo Infinite Multiplayer beta download

[ad_1]

Halo Infinite’s Arena Slayer Multiplayer Beta is over, but Big Team Battle testing is expected to begin in a few days. As such, anyone who has already downloaded the Halo Infinite beta client should keep it installed, developer 343 Industries has advised gamers.

“Keep this version installed, because this Friday we’ll be diving back into it,” the studio said in a tweet. If you are running out of disk space and need to remove it is fine, as you can re-download it when the Big Team Battle beta begins on October 1.

Anyone who didn’t take part in the Halo Infinite beta test last weekend might have a better chance this weekend, as 343 said it was inviting even more people to test Big Team Battle. Standard 4v4 Slayer will also be live this weekend, so it will be the biggest beta to date in terms of content available and number of players, it looks like. Sign up for Halo Insider for a chance to be chosen for the test.

Big Team Battle is a 12v12 mode (an increase from 8v8 in previous games) taking place on massive maps featuring both deathmatch and objective-based modes like capturing the flag. This weekend’s Big Team Battle beta will use the Fragmentation map, which includes a Destiny-style loot cave. The test begins September 30.
