Nintendo’s Switch online service will occasionally have a bunch of freebies for certain games. For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate it normally gives out a bunch of Spirit Board power-ups that can be used in in-game events.
The latest offering for Switch Online subscribers (which is a little different this time around) is Spirit Set 1, available through the Switch eShop. This set includes one random Ace-class primary spirit and one random Legend-class support spirit. Again, this is a completely free download – provided you have an active Switch Online subscription.
