Angel Di Maria left Paris Saint-Germain’s game against Nantes early Sunday to rush home which had been broken into with his family present, sources told ESPN.
Another PSG player, Marquinhos, also saw his parents’ house targeted by intruders during the game.
Marquinhos posted a statement on Instagram which read: “Sales representatives for PSG and Brazilian Marquinhos can confirm that during the match against Nantes his parents’ home was broken into while his parents were in the residence but no one was was injured and everyone is fine. It was more fear than anything bad. French authorities have opened an investigation. “

The Argentina international was replaced by Mauricio Pochettino just after the hour after a strange scene where Leonardo, the Parisian sports director, filtered the bad news to the PSG manager, who then informed his player by accompanying him to the locker room.
