‘Psych 3: This Is Gus’ Movie Gets Peacock Release Date, Trailer

Yeah, Shawn and Gus, there is something like a Peacock streaming service. And, like the previous movie, this will be the home for Psychic 3 in November.

In was announced at New York Comic Con that Psy 3: It’s Gus Peacock premieres Thursday, November 18. A trailer for “the sequel’s sequel” has also been released, and it exposes the boys’ latest mystery to be solved, reveals a chic new Lassie, and of course some silly aliases for the BFFs.

In Psychic 3, in preparation for a forced marriage before Baby Guster was born, “Shawn and Groomzilla Gus (played by James Roday Rodriguez and Dulé Hill) go rogue in an attempt to find Selene’s estranged husband (Jazmyn Simon) (blackishby Allen Maldonado). Meanwhile, Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) struggles with the future of his career. (Omundson’s recovery from his near-fatal stroke in April 2017 was written in his screenplay for Psychic 2.)

Psychic Vets Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson and Corbin Bernsen are also back as Juliet, Chief Vick and Henry, while Sage Brocklebank and Kurt Fuller reprise their roles as Buzz McNab and Woody Strode. Oh, and as teased in the trailer, English singer-songwriter Curt Smith will be the guest star as… himself.

Psychic creator Steve Franks directed the trio and wrote it with Rodriguez, and both served as executive producers alongside Hill and Chris Henze.

Psych-Os can stream the original eight-season series on Peacock, as well as the first two films.
