PUBG Mobile UPDATE: Server State Down While Tencent Prepares New Patch | Game | Entertainment

Tencent has started the process of updating PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS.

This will start with the failure of the PUBG servers, which has already been confirmed.

The maintenance of this new server will continue for much of the night and will be followed by a new announcement from Tencent on their official update plans.

As usual, fans should not expect the new PUBG Mobile update to wait for them when the servers go back online.

Fans may have to wait until later in the week before they can start playing new content, which includes a Resident Evil 2 zombie mode.

According to recent reports, the new update of PUBG Mobile should be posted on Tuesday, February 19th.

However, this will only be confirmed when Tencent itself announces the news on one of its social media feeds.

At the moment, we know that PUBG Mobile servers will be down until 8 am in the UK.

This was confirmed in a recent message from the Tencent support team, which reads as follows: "PUBG MOBILE will be taken offline for maintenance on February 18th from 12:00 to 8:00 am (UTC). The service can resume sooner or later. Stay tuned! "

As stated in the message, server maintenance can be completed early, which means that PUBG Mobile will come back online more quickly.

Regarding the big changes with PUBG Mobile update 0.11.0, we already have a good idea of what will be included.

As mentioned above, the latest version of PUBG Mobile has been in beta testing for some time.

And the release notes give a clear overview of what is being published later this week.

"In this release we will test the new collaboration and the special game mode of Resident Evil 2! The mode will be activated in about 1 hour from now, "reads a message from Tencent's support team.

"We also quickly gained experience in the daily mission to test everything smoothly."

The most important new content will be the zombie mode of Resident Evil 2, which dramatically alters the Battle Royale experience.

Players will have to fight to survive as usual on Erangel, with the added threat of zombies and bosses of Resident Evil 2 appearing on the map.

The good news is that by eliminating these threats, you will be able to unlock new weapons and rewards.

New changes will also be made to the PUBG Mobile version on PC emulator, and Sanhok will also benefit from Quick Match support in Arcade.

It is expected that changes will have been added to the beta since it was released, but below are the complete patch notes shared at that time:

  • Added RE2: Sunset, a new event mode limited in time. Fight to survive as usual on Erangel, but the zombies and bosses of Resident Evil 2 will also appear on the map! Kill them for resources and items.
  • Added theme and music from Resident Evil 2 main menu.
  • Weather Added: Moonlight in Vikendi.
  • Added personal spaces, where player information and connections are displayed. Select a friend with Synergy 400 or higher as a partner to be by your side in your space!
  • Added push-to-talk chat in games.
  • Sanhok is now available in Arcade – Quick Match.
  • Adding a PC feature: stacking damage outside the safe zone. The further away the players are from the security zone, the more damage they will suffer.
  • Added functionality of our PC counterpart: air raid adjustment. In Sanhok and Vinkendi, the size of the air raid zone is reduced as the security zone becomes smaller.
