In the new Runic Power theme gameplay for PUBG Mobile, players can queue up for a unique version of Erangel, where they will have a choice of one of three runic energies. After selecting their rune, each player will be assigned a summon and boost skill, both of which can be used to provide strategic advantages on the battlefield. All runic skills can be collected by looting Erangel’s vast terrain. Likewise, runes can be experienced in PUBG Mobile‘s Cheer Park, where players can complete daily runic missions to earn new rewards.

  • Flame Rune – Players can summon a wheel of flame that slowly rolls forward, dealing burning damage to afflicted players. An additional boost skill adds ammo burn buff for a brief period.
  • Arctic Rune – In addition to the Boost skill which adds a freeze buff to ammo, reducing healing effectiveness, players with this skill can summon a 3 × 3 ice wall grid for mid-combat protection.
  • Wind Rune – This skill summons a semi-transparent wind shield that reduces damage from bullets from weapons fired outside. The Boost skill increases player movement speed and reduces cooldown for a short time.
