FLORIDA – Appointment registration via Publix to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine will reopen online Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.
Lee, Collier, and Charlotte County meeting slots will be available on the Publix vaccination registration site.

People 65 and older and healthcare workers can book appointments in Lee County, Charlotte County, and Collier County.
Many people have reported in previous planning rounds that they saw “Appointments Available” next to each county, but they were unable to click to book an appointment in the last availability rounds.
Publix had posted a statement at the top of its registration page saying its system was online, but full of other clients.
Publix advised people to do not leave the page because if space became available, they would automatically be redirected to a page with instructions on how to make an appointment.
Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments can do not be done by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.

Publix officials were asking people to be patient as a large number of people will try to register online at the same time.
If you are unable to make an appointment on Wednesday, the next round of registrations will be announced.
Publix said it actively engages with customers on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix hotline after 9 a.m. at 1-800-242-1227.
