Purdue Football: Looking for a Defensive Line Coach

[ad_1]

Well, it was a short stint at West Lafayette for defensive line coach Terrance Jamison.

Coach Jamison came to Purdue after spending a few years in the Air Force. Bret Bielema coached Jamison during his college days and when he was done playing he became a GA for Bret.

Terrance seemed to be very popular with his defensive linemen and I think it’s an unexpected hole that Coach Brohm needs to fill. But, with his relationship with coach Bielema, it’s not much of a surprise that he wants to coach with his former football head coach and the man who gave him his debut as a coach.

Things are starting to fall into place for Mike Elston to come down from Notre Dame and be our defensive coordinator and defensive line coach.

But, in all cases, our defensive staff remains anonymous, apart from the defensive co-coordinator Anthony Poindexter who also trains the security. We need a corner coach, linebackers, a defensive line and a defensive coordinator.

Things should be moving in the next few days as the coaches start to move.

Good luck, Coach Jamison!
