The Mets and left-handed lifter Aaron Wolf agree on a deal, pending completion of a physical exam, The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports (via Twitter). Outside of a forearm strain that wiped out much of his 2019 season in San Diego, Wolf has been a largely durable and reasonably effective enclosure piece since entering the Majors with the Blue. Wolf will join the right-hander Trevor May as a new member of the Mets’ configuration core, effectively replacing another free agent left-hander Justin wilson In the process.
