Qualcomm gets a reprieve – WSJ

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, on Friday, granted Qualcomm a stay of stay by way of a lower court order that would have brought 5G's innovation to the United States. Hopefully the Federal Trade Commission will understand the problem.

During the last days of the Obama administration, the FTC sued Qualcomm for violating the Sherman Antitrust Act. The agency said Qualcomm was exploiting its dominance in the chip market to extract excessive royalties on "standard essential patents".
