Quantic Dream’s Star Wars title has been in the works for 18 months

After Quantic Dream’s three-game deal with Sony expired in 2018, after the release of Detroit: become human, the president and founder of the studio, David Cage, began to explore new opportunities and new partners.

The rumor was first reported by YouTuber and ex-French journalist Gautoz on September 16, it was reported that “They have [Quantic Dream] have now terminated their contract with Sony and will sign with Disney ”

In a separate conversation, however, I was also speaking to someone who provided overwhelming evidence that he had contacts at Quantic Dream and reported that the studio’s Star Wars game had been in the works for about 18 months.

The evidence was so concrete in fact, that I reported the results with a cryptic little tweet as the news investigation continued.

It is still unclear exactly what exactly the 18-month period is, with rumors within the French developer community suggesting that the title may have started full development in recent months.

What makes recent information more interesting is that the Quantic Dream Twitter Account liked a tweet from the Star Wars rumor by thegamepost, but the like has since been deleted.

As always, I will continue to update news as it reaches me, but we may not hear about the project for a while.
