Unvaccinated Kansans who attended Garth Brooks’ concert on Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, must now be quarantined
According to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment travel and exhibition guidelines, any unvaccinated Kansan who attends an out-of-state mass rally of 500 or more people, where individuals do not attend. not socially distancing (6 feet) and wearing a mask, should be quarantined.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s travel and exposure isolation and quarantine policy says those who are not fully vaccinated and who have attended a mass rally outside of state like this must be quarantined upon arrival in Kansas.
The length of the quarantine varies depending on whether you have been tested for COVID-19.
- If you get tested and it is negative and you have no symptoms, the quarantine period is 7 days.
- If you do not get tested, the quarantine period is 10 days provided you have no symptoms.
Those who are fully vaccinated are not required to self-quarantine unless they have tested positive for the virus. In this case, the quarantine is 7 days.
Prior to the concert, Brooks reported that due to a COVID resurgence, he was taking a break from his stadium tour after shows in Kansas City and Lincoln, Nebraska.
