GREEN BAY – Aaron Rodgers is back in Green Bay.
On Tuesday, the reigning NFL MVP quarterback was among the veteran Packers players who showed up at Lambeau Field on the eve of training camp, which officially begins Wednesday with a 10:10 a.m. CT practice at Ray Nitschke. Field.
A huge fan of “The Office” and actor Brian Baumgartner, Rodgers wore a gray t-shirt referencing the series – with an NBA Jam-style design – as he entered the building.
Rodgers returns for an unprecedented 17th season with the Packers, which will surpass the franchise record he currently shares with Brett Favre and Bart Starr.
The 37-year-old quarterback has just completed an MVP season in which he reset the Packers’ single-season record for touchdown passes (48) and completion percentage (70.3%).
Starting Wednesday, the Packers are expected to hold four consecutive public practices (weather permitting) at Nitschke Field and three more next week ahead of the annual family home evening practice at Lambeau Field on August 7.
