Meghan Markle: GMB reacts to Archbishop’s statement on ‘marriage’
Meghan and Prince Harry appear to have moved on after their revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this month. The couple have brought several charges against the royal family, including over race and mental health. Harry has since been given two top jobs in the Silicon Valley of the United States.
Meanwhile, the return home firm scrambled to regain its image in the public eye.
The interview divided opinion around the world, with many saying Meghan and Harry had snubbed the Queen, knowing that she and the rest of the family would never be able to respond to their allegations.
This is not the first time they have been accused of snubbing the monarch.
Following their wedding in 2018, the Queen is said to have recruited Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, the wife of Prince Edward, to be Meghan’s mentor.

Oprah Winfrey: The revealing interview shook the royal establishment
Katie Nicholl, a royal commentator writing to Grazia in 2019, explained how the move seemed to help Meghan, saying she found it easier to talk to Sophie compared to other royals .
She said: “According to sources, the Queen has appointed Sophie as the royal mentor for Meghan.
“The two spent time together at Royal Ascot last year and are supposed to get along well.
“The couple share a similar background, as Sophie, like Meghan, gave up a successful career (in public relations) to marry the royal family, so she is in a position to help Meghan.”

Ms Nicholl also claimed the Sussexes and Wessexes had become close because they both lived in Windsor.
A family friend told Grazia: “Sophie is often in Windsor taking the children on the Queen’s horses and playing in the castle.

The Cambridges sat a row in front of the pair, with neither couple exchanging a single word during the service.
Meghan and Harry would have been disappointed to learn that they could not attend the arrival party.
Now stripped of their roles, the Queen is believed to be fit for who could assume her royal duties.
Kate is expected to take on Meghan’s role as Patron of the National Theater – although Edward and Sophie are also being considered.
