You might be looking at your YouTube Premium subscription and don’t think it’s worth it after all. You don’t watch as many videos or listen to as much music, so it would make more financial sense to stop paying that $ 12 a month (or what that is costing your necks in the world). Google would very much like to talk you out of this, and their most recent strategy is to clearly state the benefits you have received from Premium so that you think twice before you start the cancellation process.
A new section appears for some Premium subscribers under their YouTube account page in Android apps. It is aptly titled “Your Premium Benefits” and shows the four different ways you have benefited from your paid subscription, namely the number of hours of ad-free video and music you enjoyed, the time you spent. you spent playing videos in the background (when using other apps or with the screen completely off), and the number of offline videos you downloaded and watched without connection.
If you scroll down you’ll see a few more “deals” and recommendations, though there’s nothing but a few tips on listening to a specific artist or downloading videos for offline viewing. . And at the bottom, there’s an FAQ section that answers a few questions about the benefits of Premium.
This new page is not yet available to everyone. Some of us here at Android Police have it, some don’t, so it’s probably still being deployed on the server side.
