News that we will soon be taking pictures of Pocket Monster on Switch when New Pokémon Snap coming April 30, 2021 got us all excited to reuse our cameras and scour our digital surroundings in search of creatures. You have to catch them all (on film), right?

With two decades of new Pokémon added to the National Dex since the original Pokémon Snap released on Nintendo 64, it’s an intimidating number to remember. However, we are seasoned veterans of the Pokémon series – we know our Bidoofs from our Binacles! – and we’re relatively confident that we can spot even the most reclusive dude with our keen eyes at the end of April.

What confidence are you, although? Well, we’ve put together a little quiz to test your knowledge of Pokémon and their anatomy. In the larger photos below, we’ve isolated a small part of a dozen Pokémon and it’s up to you to identify the beast among the multiple options. We even tweaked and rotated several images of clues just to make it a little more complicated.
