The sources involved in the case tell TMZ … that the federal government told Joycelyn's parents' lawyer that it was better to wait until the police knocked on R's door again. Kelly. The reason? We are told that investigators fear that this interferes with the ongoing federal investigation.

TMZ revealed the story … The people of Joyceln wanted to join the forces of order in Chicago for a follow-up visit to check on it. Our sources say that the feds believe that R. Kelly is extremely "agitated" after being arrested, accused of 10 counts of indictment aggravated sexual assault and questioned by the federal government for violations of human trafficking.

You will remember Joycelyn and Azriel Clary were both in court last weekend to support R. Kelly during his bail hearing. However, law enforcement officials are worried that another welfare check – the last one goes back to January – may frighten women … that the federal government will obviously want to question at the right time.

We are told that the family will take the lead from the federal government and will retire on the trip to Chicago. They always plan to return what they call "physical evidence" in the case.
