To prepare gamers for the game, Bethesda has developed a guide that outlines user expectations on different platforms. The company claims to focus on speed rather than the maximum number of pixels. On PlayStation 4 (basic models and Slim models), RAGE 2 will work at 1080p with a ceiling of 30 frames per second in charge mode by the frame rate. On OG Xbox One and Xbox One S models, the game will run at 900p resolution with a limit of 30 frames per second. On Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, RAGE 2 will work at 1080p with a cap of 60 frames per second.

Of course, PC gamers can enjoy uncapped frame rates and the resolution supported by their system. Of course, it does not go without quite heavy technical recommendations. Here are the specifications that Bethesda recommends if you want to play. RAGE 2 at its maximum:

Even those who play the game on the lowest settings will need a fairly accomplished machine. However, any PC player should be able to give a boost to this one. Bethesda has also added some additional visual options for RAGE 2 players. A FOV slider of 50-120 degrees, as well as options to disable HUD effects, motion blur and depth of field. In addition, players can change the targeting reticle style and support ultra-wide (21: 9) and ultra-wide (32: 9) screens.
