Shocking surveillance video captured the moment a gunman exited a car and opened fire on a pickup truck in a quiet Louisiana neighborhood during a road rage incident.

Footage from the town of Slidell shows a gray sedan pulling up in a residential area, then a passenger exits and fires a few shots at the truck, which is seen speeding for several feet before hitting a one-story house, WVUE- said the TV.

Police said multiple shots hit the truck but no injuries were reported in Wednesday’s incident, the station said.

Both vehicles were involved in a road rage incident near Highway 11, police said.

Cops then tracked down Kendell Matthews, 21, and charged him with attempted second degree murder in the incident.

“We will not tolerate this kind of reckless and inexcusable behavior in Slidell,” city police chief Randy Fandal said in a statement.

Police said there were no injuries in the shooting.

“We immediately deployed a large number of officers to search for the suspect,” said the chief. “Within hours, we located the suspect’s vehicle and made an arrest.

“Let this serve as yet another message that we will be relentless to resolve (sic) and prevent violent crime in our community,” Fandal said.

Slidell is about 30 miles north of New Orleans.
