Raiders Arrest Antonio Brown $ 54,000 For Missing Practices And He's Angry

Antonio Brown's reality show on the off-season is almost over and, in a week, a summer of drama, foot drama, headphones and field theater will give way to football. Before getting there, however, there are some final details to be completed, such as the revelation that the Raiders fined the receiver $ 13,950 for missing a team visit on August 22 and $ 40,000 for missing a training camp session on August 18th.

The August 18 practice was a day before Brown filed her last grievance for not being allowed to wear her favorite helmet. When he missed this practice, general manager Mike Mayock said, "At this point we have exhausted all the relief possibilities. So, from our point of view, it's time for it to be all or nothing. Brown was with the Raiders in Winnipeg on August 22 for a pre-season game, but he just did not show up in advance. When he received the letter, Brown was unsurprisingly angry:

Letters such as the one above may simply be intended to reserve the right to fine a player later, giving the team a benefit. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Raiders are planning to come together. Brown will not only have to play for head coach Jon Gruden, face the outside chance the Peterman throws at him, and drop the Raiders' stink on him, but he'll have to make as little as $ 54K because his team has lacked patience with him a week before his debut. At least he is finally installed on a helmet.
