The Las Vegas Raiders and the Cleveland Browns played soccer in harsh weather conditions on Sunday, as high winds blasted the Week 8 game. Even from the first practice of this game, it appeared that kicking the balloon would be extremely difficult.

Derek Carr and the Raiders received the ball to start the game, and he led the offense on a 10-play, 52-yard practice that ultimately stalled just outside the red zone. Jon Gruden then sent in Daniel Carlson to attempt a 41-yard field goal on the fourth down, and that’s probably a decision Gruden would love to have back given the kind of wind he was against.

Check out Carlson’s hilarious missed basket:

While the kind of curve this basket experienced due to the wind was amazing, it almost seemed like Carlson was even trying to try to make up for the weather. Looking at the kick when it came out of his right foot, it looked like the attempt was going to go wide to the right. Then the wind grabbed him and the bullet hit the left upright.

That lack doesn’t matter, as the Raiders won a 16-6 victory over the Browns on Sunday. Carlson and Cleveland kicker Cody Parkey missed goals because of the wind in this game, which was clearly out of control in Ohio.
