In a few days, the Raiders recruits and the players in the selection will participate in the minicamps rookies practice. It will go down on Friday. But before that, they had business to settle. Namely the signing of the group of free recruits unwritten. With these additions, the team must often free up space in the post-season lineup.
Although they have not yet officially announced which unsigned free agents they have signed, we have a list right here in our tracker. Prior to this official announcement, the team made reductions.
The players released today were the following:
RB James Butler
LB Cayson Collins
WR Rashard Davis
G / C Cameron Hunt
WE De'Mornay Pierson-El
Butler, Collins and Davis all spent time in the Raiders' training team last season.
Butler was an unprepared rookie for the Raiders last year and was engaged in the training team where he spent most of the season. Collins was part of the Raiders' training team several times last season. Davis was enlisted in the Raiders' training team before the 11th week of last season.
Hunt was originally a free agent for the Denver Broncos in Oregon in 2017. He joined the Raiders in the last off season and was active for the last three games of the team last season.
Pierson-El was signed by the late AAF. Previously, he had made a short stint in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes.
We will soon know the signatories of the free agent not written, certainly in the next two days.
