If the Pittsburgh Steelers needed extra motivation this week, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr gave it to them. Well, for the fans at least. Carr spoke to the media on Wednesday and when asked what he knew about the historic Steelers-Raiders rivalry, Carr offered only one line.
“The ball hit the ground.
Carr speaks of course about the famous immaculate reception and touchdown by Steelers running back Franco Harris against the Oakland Raiders in the AFC playoffs in 1972.
