The Skills 2.0 update introduced the Rain Risk 2 challenges that allow Survivors to learn new skills and skins (at least on PC – they will come on consoles this winter). Each survivor faces two to four challenges, and each challenge opens up an additional skill or alternative skin. The Rain Risk 2 challenges vary greatly in difficulty and complexity, so we have developed a guide that outlines all the challenges available and how to solve them. Do not forget that you can check your progress in terms of challenges via the logbook in the main menu, which is particularly convenient since the developer Hopoo Games said that new challenges would be added in the future . Anyway, here are all the Rain Risk 2 challenges available today. Note that you must complete these challenges as the assigned character.
Commando

Roll the thunder: Throw the fatal blow on an overloaded worm. Getting an overload worm to appear is largely a matter of luck, but you can greatly increase your chances by activating two or more mountain sanctuaries at a stage where the lava worm can reproduce, such as Rallypoint Delta and Abyssal Depths . If you play solo, the final shot should be easy provided you do not have active drones or followers. If you play with friends, ask them to retire once the boss is weak.
Incorruptible: erase 20 steps at once without picking up lunar elements. This one is pretty simple: play on easy to make things easier to manage and erase 20 steps while avoiding Lunar pods. It is not easy, but it is simple.
Mastery: Erase at obelisk in monsoon mode. In other words, erase seven steps in difficulty from Monsoon, take the celestial gate to the obelisk and choose the obliterate option. Again, not easy, but simple enough. The only advice that is done is to do one's best.

I got you !: Launch the fatal blow on an Overlord Emperor with the Preon accumulator. The Preon accumulator is an item of equipment that you unlock by opening a specific chest in Rallypoint Delta within 10 minutes of starting your race. You can find more details in our Chance of Rain 2 items guide. Once you have unlocked it, play until an Imp Overlord appears, reach a low health level, then run it with Preon.
pest: beat two Beetle Queens without leaving the teleporter area. Several bosses will begin to breed in subsequent waves, but you can guarantee the presence of several bosses with Shrines of the Mountain. The queen of beetles often breeds at an early stage, such as Distant Roost, Titanic Plains, Abedoned Aqueduct and Wetlands Aspect, so it should not be too hard. Stay in the teleporter's red bubble as you fight the two queens. Note that this will also work if more than two beetles appear.
Mastery: erase yourself at the obelisk in monsoon mode. As above: pull your giant robot up and go through seven stages of Monsoon difficulty, then direct the Heavenly Portal to the obelisk and choose the erase option.
Huntress

Wind: Start and finish Rallypoint Delta without falling below 100% HP. It will be difficult at all costs, but this challenge is not limited to "never suffer damage in Rallypoint Delta". The key word here is health. Shields are a fair game, so items that add shields or replace your health with shields will help you here. The topaz pin, in particular, is ideal for this. Either way, you are going to need to play with caution.
A shot, a dead person Collect and transport 12 Crowbars at a time. The crowbar is a common white object, so amassing 12 should not take too much time. Check out the vending machines for hollow bars, focus on opening small chests that give more white items and keep your eyes open for a 3D Crowbar printer.
Mastery: erase yourself at the obelisk in monsoon mode. As above: Crack your fingers all seven levels in monsoon trouble, as in a cold state, then head to the celestial portal towards the obelisk and choose the erase option.
Engineer

Better with friends: recruit 12 minions at a time. The henchmen, in this case, are drones and other followers. So, catch all the drones you can find. It is possible that the ghosts summoned via Happiest Mask Legendary and that the drones generated by the rescue equipment count for the total minions of this challenge, but we have not tested it yet. In any case, the drones on the ground will be much more reliable.
100% calculated: defeat the teleporter's boss in less than five seconds after his appearance. Melt a boss, basically. It should not be too difficult. Use your favorite version, the most damaged one, put down your turrets, prepare your equipment (and / or your friends), then activate the teleporter and call a very unfortunate boss. Whatever the level of difficulty, it can be any boss, but you will probably have more luck if you do so in the first five or so steps. So, you will not have several difficult bosses to follow.
Artificer

Orbital bombardment: Kill 15 enemies before touching the ground. Just jump or fly over a large group of enemies and let go. You can soften them before you fly to make things easier. If you are having trouble, try jumping to a high point and using mobility objects such as the Hopoo Feather.
Massacre: perform a multikill of 20 enemies. For this challenge, you must kill 20 enemies with the same attack at the same time. The nano-bomb charged with the artificer is ideal for this. Stack area objects, soften a group of 20 or more enemies, group them together and let them have them.
Chunked !: Completely defeat the teleporter's boss in one second of damage. The objects in Risk of Rain 2 are so random that there is no precise way to do it – play for a while until you have an incredible number of items, then melt a boss. The most important thing is not to accidentally damage the boss before dropping it. Have your equipment ready, make sure all your abilities are out of the cooldown, and let yourself go.
Mastery: erase yourself at the obelisk in monsoon mode. As above: put on your coolest sunglasses and erase seven steps in Monsoon mode, then point the Celestial Portal at the obelisk and choose the erase option.
Mercenary

Demon of the heavens: do not touch the ground for 30 seconds. This one is a lot easier than you think, with Mercenary being a melee character. With some Hopoo feathers and a little cooldown, Mercenary can stay in the air indefinitely using his attack. Hardlight Afterburner Legendary alone will do just that. Find just a volley of flying enemies and keep bouncing between them with your dash.
Ethereal: complete a prismatic test without falling below 100% health. This one is not so bad as it may seem – the prismatic tests are very short and easy to replay – but you'll have to be careful because the Mercenary is a melee character. Take all the shield items you can, walk carefully and use the invincibility window of your Eviscerate wave wisely.
Mastery: erase yourself at the obelisk in monsoon mode. As above: pull your sword as quickly as possible and erase seven steps in monsoon mode, then direct the celestial gateway to the obelisk and choose the erase option.
REX

Bushwhacked: complete an entire teleporter event with less than 50% health. Note that this is just a teleporter event, not an entire stage. In other words, you must have a health level lower than 50% from the moment you activate a teleporter to the point of using it to leave the scene, which means you have to kill the boss and fully charge the teleporter when he has less than half of his health. . Make sure your health is well below 50% before activating the teleporter, then ration your healing abilities to make sure you do not exceed half. Be especially careful when using your Tangling Growth Zone because it provides a lot of care. In fact, just to be safe, you probably should not use it at all. Oh, and spam your seed dam to keep your health to a minimum if it starts to move
