April 1 has arrived and, in the spirit of April Fool's Day, Ubisoft has launched a new ridiculous event in Rainbow Six Siege. The Rainbow Is Magic event is now online on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and features a special playlist and an assortment of new colorful cosmetics in the popular Tactical Shooter.
For a limited time, players can complete a special rescue mission in a redesigned and colorful version of the Plane Card. The object: safely retrieve a VIP teddy bear from the vehicle. For this mission, players will be able to choose between four operators – Blackbeard, Mountain, Smoke and Tachanka – and nine "lead soldiers".
In addition to this special mission, Ubisoft has launched a new line of exclusive Rainbow Is Magic cosmetics. The collection consists of 17 colorful items ranging from EDRs to hairstyles. Players will receive a free Rainbow Is Magic pack when they log in during the event and will be able to win others by completing the Ubisoft Club's challenges or purchasing them against 300 R6 credits. As with other Rainbow Six Siege loot packs, there will be no duplicate items.
The Rainbow Is Magic event runs until April 8th, while the Rainbow Is Magic cosmetic packs will be available for an additional week until April 15th. You can read more details about the event on the official website of Rainbow Six Siege and on Xbox Wire.
In addition to Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft is holding a ridiculous April Fool's Day event in its For For Sword fighting game. Until 9 pm, April 1 (12 am, Eastern Time, April 2), players can battle swarms of rabbits and all the people who will participate in the operation will receive a melee pack.
