A young boy heads for Hollywood after receiving the golden ringtone of America's Got Talent.
Violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa is from Raleigh. He impressed the judges by interpreting the interpretation of Kelly Clarkson's song, Stronger, during his audition at the Talent Show.
The 11-year-old said he turned to music after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of four.
He underwent chemotherapy and lost his hair, which he said led to bullying at school. He says that playing the violin has helped him forget about his health problems.
During his audition, Butler-Figueroa received a standing ovation from the four judges before receiving the sound signal from Judge Simon Cowell.
The golden alarm means that it will happen automatically at Hollywood concerts.
Butler-Figueroa says he's been in remission for four years.
America's Got Talent is broadcast on NBC.
