The new stylish and sophisticated pickup from Ram
The Ram 1500 2019 is the most sophisticated, luxurious and technological half-ton pickup ever designed by the brand. A year after the launch of the all-new Ram 1500 pickup truck, the truck brand confirmed the arrival later this year of a diesel engine that will rival the similar offerings of the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500s.
The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 has the same size as the latest generation 1500 diesel, but at 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque, it's 20 hp and 60 lb-ft more powerful than the old . These numbers compare to 250 hp and 440 lb-ft for Ford's 3.0-liter V6 and 277 hp. And 460 lb-ft. For the Chevrolet 3.0-liter 6-cylinder inline.
Ram makes diesel available every 1500 km, including the Rebel off-roader. Ford and Chevy only offer their engines in a limited number of trim levels and configurations.

Especially in the light-duty truck segment, the Ram diesel provides a maximum towing capacity of 12,560 pounds, which is superior to the best available F-150 diesel at 11,400 pounds. Chevrolet has not yet revealed its official figure.
Prices and fuel savings for Ram diesels will be announced closer to their date of sale. The F-150 has an EPA road rating of 30 mpg and the cheapest model is an XLT at $ 46,225.
