Ram 1500 hit with yet another major quality problem

According to NHTSA, the software error can occur when the engine is shut down. If a computer module does not reset properly, airbags and seat belt pretensioners do not work properly in the event of a collision. A dashboard light may come on if a truck encounters this problem.

In total, 295,981 units of Ram 1500 2019 are affected by the problem in the United States, including 38,884 in Canada, 1,817 in Mexico and 6,154 outside NAFTA. 26 additional examples of the 2020 truck are also included, but they are in possession of FCA.
