Rambo: last blood will be released on September 20, 2019, Lionsgate announced Thursday.
Sylvester Stallone gives his last performance under the name of John Rambo in the fifth installment of the franchise. The final title of the series is in preparation since 2008.
Adrian Grunberg directed the action picture from a scenario of Stallone and Matt Cirulnick. Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Yvette Monreal co-star.
The story follows Rambo – who worked on a ranch – as he crosses the US-Mexico border to find a kidnapped daughter of a friend. Soon, he finds himself facing one of the most violent cartels in Mexico.
