Ramona Singer denies being fired from “RHONY”

Ramona Singer says she still has her apple.

The “Real Housewives of New York” star has denied recent rumors that Bravo is giving her the boot for seasons to come.

“No,” Singer replied to a fan who pointedly asked her on Instagram on Wednesday, “Were you fired? Fans want to know?”

As reports claimed a cast reshuffle was imminent, Page Six reported yesterday that the current Season 13 reunion recording had been pushed back from August 5 to at least September amid declining odds. ‘listen. Filming for the next season, meanwhile, is delayed until early 2022, which is months late, according to the Daily Mail.

The singer, 64, has been on the show since its premiere in 2008. Fellow “OG” Luann de Lesseps, longtime actor Sonja Morgan, second season star Leah McSweeney and debutant Eboni K. Williams round out the cast this season.

The singer’s storylines this season have often involved Williams, the show’s first black actor, as they engage in heated discussions about race and politics – leaving some fans on social media indifferent to this year’s drama.

“Leah and Eboni are not a good fit for this show. #Rhony was my favorite franchise. Now all they do is bicker and talk about race. It sucks. The good old days have me. missing with Bethenny or Carol or even the fucking Jill Zarin… ”one fan tweeted recently.

A source close to the production told us earlier this week that casting decisions for Season 14 have yet to be made.

“These are all rumors and there is no discussion on next season – which hasn’t even been announced – yet,” the source said.

Bravo usually doesn’t comment on casting rumors.

Meanwhile, after Singer said it had not been canned, several fans showed their relief.

“Thank goodness !! I love you Ramona !!! ❤️❤️❤️” one fan tweeted in the comments of her singer’s original Instagram post. “True fans know there’s no way it can. happen! You are the best! ❤️.

“Good! You make the show so fun! ♥ ️,” wrote another.

But some said it was time for Singer to hang up her hat, with one person joking that it would be a “bummer” if she returned.

“I’m sick of seeing her not change a single piece for all these years!” Another person wrote.
