the Rams have found their new special teams coordinator, as the team announced they had hired Joe DeCamillis. The veteran coach will replace John Bonamego, who moves on to a role of Senior Coaching Assistant.

DeCamillis brings 32 years of NFL experience, including the last four years as Jaguars Special Teams Coordinator. During their time in Jacksonville, the team traditionally placed in the top 10 in many special team categories, and in 2019 DeCamillis helped guide the punter. Logan cooke and kicker Josh lambo to become the first teammates to lead the NFL in net average and field goal percentage.

Prior to working with the Jaguars, the 55-year-old spent time as a special teams coordinator with the Broncos, Bears and Cowboys, and he also spent time with the coaching teams of the Falcons and of the Giants.

Bonamego, 57, joined the Rams last February. He spent the 2019 season as the Lions’ special teams coordinator, and he was the head coach of central Michigan between the 2015 and 2018 seasons.

• Jennifer King should become a full-time offensive assistant on WashingtonNFL.com coaching staff, reports NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport (via Twitter). This makes King “The first full-time black coach in NFL history,” according to The Athletic. The Guilford College product spent the 2020 season as a one-year coaching intern Ron riverastaff of.
  
• It looks like new Jets the head coach Robert Saleh finalized his team of offensive coaches. We have already heard about the hiring of Mike LaFleur as offensive coordinator, Greg knapp as quarterback coach, John benton as an offensive line coach, and Rob calabrese as a specialist in the passing game. ESPN’s Rich Cimini passed on a few names we can add to the roster, including the wide receivers coach Miles Austin, running back trainer Taylor Embree, and tight ends trainer Ron Middleton. As Cimini notes, the staff don’t have a lot of experience, with Calabrese, Embree and Austin serving for the first time as position coaches in the NFL.
• the Falcons should hire Charles London as the new quarterbacks coach, reports NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero (via Twitter). It’s a bit of an interesting hire, as London has spent the last nine years coaching running backs with the Texans, Bears and Penn State. However, the 45-year-old has experience as an offensive assistant / quality control coach with the Titans and Bears.
• Mike Klis of 9News in Denver tweets this Broncos running back trainer Curtis Modkins aroused interest “from all over the league as an offensive coordinator.“The 50-year-old has been an NFL running back coach since the 2008 season, spending time with the Chiefs, Cardinals, Bills, Lions, 49ers and Bears.
• Mike Tomlin interviewed Hank Fraley for the Steelers OL coach concert, reports Gerry Dulac of the Post-Gazette (via Twitter). Fraley actually began his NFL career in Pittsburgh, when the Steelers signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2000. After a playing career that saw him appear in 142 games (mostly with the Eagles) & Browns), Fraley has coached at both the college and professional levels, including a recent stint as the Lions offensive line coach.
