Paul’s report, which is used to berate the government for what it says is high spending over a litany of issues, has sounded the alarm bells about funding for healthcare, foreign aid and more, adding that the trend would drive up the national debt.

Paul specifically expressed his grievances over the recently passed coronavirus relief and the government funding package which totaled $ 2.3 trillion. The Kentucky Republican, a longtime tax conservative, noted that the bill was introduced hours before a vote and included funding for projects in countries around the world like Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

The report is the sixth edition that Paul has published.
Paul built a career in the Senate denouncing government spending and foreign intervention and criticizing the price tags of laws to be passed. He recently voted this week against the $ 2.3 trillion package to fight the coronavirus and fund the government until October.
Festivus was popularized in a 1997 episode “Seinfeld” focused on secular holidays.
