Random: Artist reinvents all Pokémon Sword and Shield monsters as Game Boy sprites

With a whole new generation, a whole new Pokémon ship to catch, and that was exactly the case when Pokémon Sword and Shield landed on Switch in 2019.

Although these are the most recent games in the series, a very talented artist named Pat ackerman reinvented each new monster in the game as if it had appeared on Game Boy. Everyone from Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble, to Calyrex and the new Galarian forms of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are showing up:
