In his most recent column Famitsu (translated by PushDustIn and NokoloSakurai also explained how it was "impossible" that the future entries of the Smash series feature as many fighters or show performances as the type of game that Ultimate has become is "unprecedented".
During the recent Direct, Nintendo revealed Terry Bogard of Fatal Fury would be the next DLC fighter and also announced additional characters would be added to the game after the completion of the first wave.
